Visit Elm City Vet at the New Haven Night Market for a fun and festive experience at the Elm City Vet Paws & Pumpkins Photo Spot!
We’re teaming up with professional pet photographer Geoffrey Tischman to capture fun fall-themed photos of your furry friends. (Or scale-y ones. Lizards, anyone?) Costumes are encouraged, but not required!
After the event, you can download a free digital photo of your pet and even purchase additional prints if you’d like. We can’t wait to see you there!

What’s cooler than the Yale University Art Gallery? The Yale University Art Gallery…at NIGHT! Visit the YUAG until 8PM on Night Market night! Check our their new installations, like the Year of the Dragon exhibit, and be sure to speak with their staff about becoming a member for FREE!
Also be sure to visit the Yale Center for British Art portico where they’ll host an art-making activity! They are excited to connect with the community while awaiting their grand reopening.
FLASH TATTOOS with Showoff Ink Artistry
The crew at Showoff Ink Artistry are back to give you some permanent Night Market souvenirs! Choose from tons of designs, from plants, paws, & pizza to SKULLS for spooky season. We recommend making an appointment with them early - spots fill up fast.
Fine print: Tattoos $80, cash only, black & grey only/no color, no changes; flash stencils pre-made, 1 tattoo per person (but you can visit their shop sometime if you want more!), first come, first serve
Game Zone hosted by The Archive
The Archive Apartments hosts this Night Markets Game Zone, along with an info table with swag giveaways! Celebrating the completion of their new apartment building at the corner of Orange & Chapel, The Archive joins the Night Market! Stop by their info table to learn more and welcome them to the city before you head over to the lawn games where you can enjoy bean bag toss, ping pong, giant Connect 4 & more!

New to Downtown New Haven in the Audubon Arts Neighborhood, The Giggling Pig joins the Night Market to celebrate their grand opening! Visit them at Night Market to DIY greeting cards and decorate your own autumn-themed ornaments! Choose from pumpkins, moons & maple leaves and use (less mess) paint markers to customize your keepsake. Also shop from their selection of craft supplies and classes!
This activity is open to all folks of all ages, as are all Night Market Happenings!

About Creative Arts Workshop: CAW’s core belief is “To create freely is to live fully.” Creative Arts Workshop is a New Haven nonprofit, serving the Greater New Haven area since 1961. As an anchor institution located in the heart of the award-winning Audubon Arts District, CAW offers a wide range of visual arts classes and engagement in creativity in its own three-story building with fully-equipped studios in eight disciplines, and an active exhibition and public programming schedule. More than 1,800 adults and young people enroll annually in the more than 400 courses offered by Creative Arts Workshop, while over 1000 visitors enjoy the free exhibitions and public programs in its destination galleries throughout the year. CAW’s classes are open to students of all ages and levels of experience.
